About TracePath
TracePath is Europe’s leading Digital Product Passport (DPP) infrastructure platform — built exclusively for fashion, apparel, and textile brands navigating the EU’s new sustainability regulations.
Our Mission
We believe that supply chain transparency is not a burden — it is a competitive advantage. TracePath was founded with a single mission: to make EU Digital Product Passport compliance simple, affordable, and powerful for every fashion and textile brand in Europe and beyond.
From a single garment manufactured in Bangladesh to a luxury leather bag sold in Paris, TracePath connects the entire product lifecycle into one immutable, verifiable digital record — accessible to consumers, regulators, recyclers, and auditors.
Why We Built TracePath
The fashion industry produces over 100 billion garments every year, yet less than 1% of clothing is recycled into new garments. Supply chain complexity, lack of traceability, and unverifiable sustainability claims have made the industry one of the largest contributors to global environmental damage.
When the European Union announced the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and the mandatory Digital Product Passport framework, we saw both a responsibility and an opportunity. Brands needed a platform that could handle the complexity of EU compliance without requiring teams of engineers or months of integration work.
TracePath was built to answer that need — a platform where a fashion startup in Copenhagen and a heritage luxury house in Milan could both achieve full DPP compliance with the same infrastructure, scaled to their size and pace.
Transparency First
We believe consumers deserve to know exactly where their clothes come from, who made them, and what they are made of. Every product on TracePath carries a verifiable, immutable record.
Built for Scale
From 10 SKUs to 10,000, TracePath’s infrastructure scales with your business. Our no-code schema engine and automated supplier portal eliminate manual data collection at any size.
Compliance Without Compromise
EU regulations are complex and evolving. TracePath’s regulatory team monitors ESPR, Green Claims Directive, and CSRD updates so your DPPs are always ahead of the compliance curve.
What is a Digital Product Passport (DPP)?
A Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a structured digital record that travels with a physical product throughout its entire lifecycle — from raw material sourcing to end-of-life recycling. It contains verified data about a product’s origin, materials, carbon footprint, repairability, and sustainability credentials.
The Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation enters into force, establishing the legal framework for DPP mandates across product categories.
The European Commission publishes specific DPP data requirements for fashion, apparel, and textile products.
Leading European fashion brands begin voluntary DPP pilot programs. Brands without infrastructure fall behind in supplier readiness and data quality.
All textile and apparel products sold in the EU market must carry a valid, machine-readable Digital Product Passport. Non-compliance risks market access revocation.
